HIGH-PERFORMANCE CASE AGGREGATION AND SERIALIZATION
VVTechnologiesINC’s PackStation (CAP) is an automated case aggregation and inspection solution designed to identify and record which serialized products are packed into individual cases. The system establishes accurate parent-child relationships between individual items and their corresponding cases, supporting end-to-end traceability throughout the packaging process.
Designed for integration with existing case-packing equipment, PackStation (CAP) can be configured to accommodate different case-packer formats and production requirements while maintaining efficient packaging-line performance.
The solution provides automated Data Matrix and barcode inspection, serialized case-label verification, and aggregation management to help ensure that only correctly identified and verified products are associated with each case.

HOW IT WORKS
1. PRODUCT CODE INSPECTION
The system captures and analyzes the codes printed on individual products. Each code is verified against the expected product and serialization information to ensure accurate identification before aggregation.
2. CASE LABEL GENERATION
Once all products within the case have been successfully identified and verified, a serialized case label is generated and applied to the case.
3. CASE LABEL VERIFICATION
The applied case label is inspected using automated vision and barcode verification. The system checks the label against the expected information to confirm that the correct serialized data has been applied.
4. AGGREGATION
When all required inspections are successfully completed, the system establishes the parent-child relationship between the individual serialized products and the serialized case. This aggregation data can then be transferred to the appropriate track-and-trace or enterprise system.
5. REJECTION OF NON-COMPLIANT CASES
If a product code, case label, or aggregation condition fails verification, the case is identified as defective and directed to an appropriate automated rejection mechanism. This helps prevent incorrectly serialized or improperly aggregated cases from proceeding to the next stage.
IMPROVED PACKAGING TRACEABILITY
PackStation (CAP) helps pharmaceutical and medical-device manufacturers improve serialization accuracy, aggregation reliability, packaging-line efficiency, and product traceability by combining automated code inspection, case-label verification, and parent-child relationship management within a single solution.
