MANUAL SERIALIZATION AND AGGREGATION PACKAGING STATION

VVTechnologiesINC’s PackStation (FMP) is a flexible manual packaging and serialization solution designed to support accurate product identification, serialization, aggregation, authentication, and traceability across pharmaceutical and medical-device packaging operations.

The system enables operators to manually scan and verify serialized information at different packaging levels, including bottles, cartons, bundles, cases, and pallets. With a dedicated operator interface and integrated printing control, the solution supports label generation, manual label application, aggregation, and rework activities.

PackStation (FMP) can be configured to work with different packaging formats and can communicate with multiple production systems, printers, scanners, and packaging equipment, making it suitable for a variety of manual and semi-manual packaging environments.

HOW IT WORKS

1. PRODUCT SCANNING AND PACKING

The operator scans the serialized information from each product and places the verified products into the appropriate case or secondary package.

2. CASE LABEL PRINTING AND APPLICATION

After all required products have been successfully scanned and verified, the system initiates printing of the serialized case label. The operator applies the label to the case.

3. CASE AGGREGATION

The operator scans the applied case label to confirm the relationship between the individual serialized products and their parent case. The completed case can then be moved to palletization.

4. PALLET AGGREGATION

When the required number of cases has been placed on a pallet, the system generates the appropriate serialized pallet label. The operator applies and scans the label to complete the pallet-level aggregation.

5. SERIALIZATION DATA AND REPORTING

VVTechnologiesINC’s software maintains relevant serialization and packaging activity data, including commissioning, decommissioning/destruction, sampling, rework, aggregation, and other production events. Reports can be generated to support production monitoring, traceability, reconciliation, and audit activities.
